Player 3 (21) and Player 4 (13) have a combined handicap of 34

Players 1 & 2 give Players 3 & 4 (34 - 19) x 3/8 shots  - 15 x 3/8 = 5.6 rounded to 6 shots.


Foursomes Matchplay
Alternate tee shots and then alternate shots
(Highest Combined Course Handicap - Lowest Combined Course Handicap) divided by 2
Team A: Player 1 (Course Handicap: 10) + Player 2 (Course Handicap: 18) = 28
Team B: Player 1 (Course Handicap: 5) + Player 2 (Course Handicap: 12) = 17
Difference: 28 (Team A) - 17 (Team B) = 11
Handicap Allowance: 11 (Difference) / 2 = 5.5 (rounded to 6)

Singles Matchplay
Full Playing Handicap (100% of Course Handicap)
Player 1 has handicap of 17
Player 2 has handicap of 5

Player 1 gives Player 2 twelve (12) shots

Foursomes Medalplay
Shots for Team A - (Combined Course Handicap) divided by 2
Shots for Team B - (Combined Course Handicap) divided by 2

In this format 1/2 shots count - see example below
Player 1 has a Course Handicap of 19.
Player 2 has a Course Handicap of 12.
Combined Course Handicap: 19 + 12 = 31
Handicap Allowance: 30 x 0.50 = 15.5 strokes
Player 3 has a Course Handicap of 12.
Player 4 has a Course Handicap of 8.
Combined Course Handicap: 12 + 8 =20
Handicap Allowance: 20 x 0.50 = 10 strokes
(Players 3 & 4) give (Players 1 & 2 )  5.5 strokes
 
 
Betterball Stableford
Each player in the team plays their own ball, and the team's score for each hole is the better of the two scores
