A worthy stroke index 1, this hole really tests you. The line for the tee shot is definitely on the marker pole, there is no real bailout left or right here, but the closer you are to the OB hedge right, which runs all the way down to the green, you’ll have a more scary line to green with the hedge in the corner of your eye. The pin doesn’t come into view until you’re in short iron distance and you’ll find a very difficult up and down if you go left or long. A par here will feel like a birdie! (Approximately 255 yards to the marker pole which is 190 yards to the middle of green)
The Back Nine
From the back tee it’s 295 to reach the marker pole but moderate hitters could be more concerned about making the 170 yard carry to reach the front edge of the fairway.
