A good tee shot over the marker post will gain those extra yards enabling players to go for this par 5 in two, if you don’t feel confident in carrying the two cross bunkers just lay up and you’ll still have an easy third. Beware on the tee shot not to go too far left as the out of bounds comes into play.
The Back Nine
With the tee tucked back a little it can seem a slightly more intimidating tee shot than when playing the 9th, take you tee shot over or slightly left of the marker pole and you’ll set yourself up well for this short par five. If you are laying up from the cross bunkers aim at the left one as everything kicks right, it’s usually an easier up and down if you miss the green to the right.
